API field

Grid power limitation

Highest power the grid accepts; 0 = no limit

Unit kW (kVA when the limit is apparent)

What it is

The highest power the system may deliver to the grid under its interconnection agreement, in kilowatts, or in kilovolt-amperes when the limit is marked as apparent power. The inverters apply it by lowering their output ceiling, so the power at the grid connection never exceeds the limit.

Typical values and how to get it

The export limit of the interconnection agreement. 0 means no limit. Whether the limit is modelled, and whether it holds at the injection point or at the inverter output, is chosen on the Model tab. If not given: 0 kW: no grid limit.
