Sky masking method

How the rows in front reduce the sky light the modules see

What it is

Selects the method that computes how much of the sky the rows in front hide from the modules.

Chosen on the Model tab.

Values

Isotropic integral of the row shading factor = isotropic_integral (default): the share of a uniform sky the row in front hides, integrated in closed form for fixed rows and per timestep for trackers · View factor = view_factor: the sky view factor of an interior row, averaged over points across the collector
