API field
Strings on one rack
Strings on one rack, each independently bypassed
What it is
The number of strings on one rack, each switching off on its own when a shadow reaches it. The string layout sets how they divide the rack. Empty resolves to one string.
Typical values and how to get it
Count the strings that share one rack. Half-cell modules in portrait have two independent halves up the slope and count as two strings each, so two such modules stacked in portrait give four strings stacked across the width. In landscape the halves sit side by side along the row and a module counts as one. If not given: 1: one string on a rack.
