Bifacial
The rear side of a bifacial array; empty = monofacial
What it is
The bifacial section switches on the rear side of the array. It carries the height of the modules above the ground, the fraction of light that passes through the modules, the shading by the structure behind the modules, the rear mismatch and an optional rear albedo. The rear-side model choice is made in the Model tab. East-west and rooftop racking cannot carry a rear side.
Typical values and how to get it
Present only for bifacial modules, together with the module's bifaciality factor. If not given: null: the modules are treated as monofacial and the rear side is not modelled.
