IV shading current scale
Whether electrical shading reduces the array current the inverter sees
What it is
Selects whether the array current-voltage curve is reduced on timesteps with electrical shading before the inverter's operating point is found.

Chosen on the Model tab.
Values
Scale the curve by the electrical shading = electrical_fraction (default): the array curve's current is multiplied by the share of power the electrical shading leaves · Leave the curve unscaled = off: the electrical shading loss is taken as power only, and the curve keeps the current of the unshaded array
