Sandia model parameters

The Sandia inverter model's own parameters; empty = fitted from the efficiency curves

What it is

The nine parameters of the Sandia inverter model of King and co-workers: P_aco, P_dco, V_dco, P_so, C0 to C3 and P_nt. Only the Sandia efficiency with voltage terms reads them. Every inverter of the CEC library carries them, from the CEC inverter database. If not given, that efficiency option fits them from the inverter's efficiency curves by the Sandia procedure: from the curves at the test voltages when the inverter has two or more, with no voltage terms from a single part-load curve, or as a straight line from the power threshold to the nameplate at the maximum efficiency when it has no curve. The option's page gives the fit's equations, and the run's warnings name the source used.

Typical values and how to get it

Leave it empty for an OND inverter; a CEC library inverter fills it. Enter the values of the CEC database or a Sandia test report to use them.
