Cells in series

What it is

The number of cells connected in series inside the module. It scales the voltage of the circuit model: the module voltage is this many cell voltages. A half-cut module with two parallel halves of 66 cells each counts 66, not 132.

Typical values and how to get it

The datasheet cell count divided by the number of parallel cell strings. If not given: the module runs on the PVWatts DC model, which does not read it. The one-diode models need it: a request that names one of them without it is refused.
