One-diode temperature law
The band gap and the ideality factor's temperature coefficient of the one-diode curve
What it is
Selects the band gap of the saturation-current law and where the temperature coefficient of the ideality factor comes from. It is read with the Mermoud one-diode model.
Typical values and how to get it
Chosen on the Model tab.
Values
Fitted to the power coefficient = mu_pmp (default): the band gap of the cell technology, and the ideality factor's coefficient fitted so the curve's power falls by the power temperature coefficient between 25 °C and 45 °C · Given coefficient = mu_gamma: a band gap of 1.121 eV for every technology, and the ideality factor's coefficient as given · Band gap by technology, given coefficient = band_gap_by_technology: the band gap of the cell technology, and the ideality factor's coefficient as given
