API field
Scene frame
The coordinate convention a scene states
What it is
The frame block states the one convention every scene uses: axes east, north and up, angles in degrees, azimuths counted clockwise from true north, and lengths without a unit. Every field has a single accepted value; a scene that states another convention is rejected rather than reinterpreted. A length_unit key anywhere in the scene is rejected with the same message: the scene is unitless.
Typical values and how to get it
Optional: omit it, or send it exactly as the examples show (axes east, north, up; azimuth_zero true_north; azimuth_direction clockwise; lengths unitless). The convention cannot be changed. The origin block is optional too. The version defaults to 2 and, when given, must be 2.
