Tree line object
A wall that lets a seasonal fraction of the light through
What it is
A tree line is the same screen as a wall with a seasonal transmittance: the fraction of the direct sunlight that passes, 0 opaque to 1 clear, transmittance.leaf_on for the leaf-on months and transmittance.leaf_off for the leaf-off months. Leaf-on runs from May to October north of the equator and from November to April south of it. Both values default to 0. Lengths are in the scene's unit, the same for every length.
Typical values and how to get it
Hedges and tree rows; about 0.1 through a leafed crown and 0.55 through a bare one. A single deciduous tree is one segment as wide as its crown, drawn square to the line from the array to the tree, with z at the bottom of the crown and h the height of the crown, so that its top is at z + h.
