Device border
The frame around the modules' rectangle: it shades the neighbours and produces nothing
What it is
The width of the frame around the modules' rectangle (length × width) of the device, the same on its four sides. A neighbour's shadow is cast by the rectangle grown by the border on every side, and a shadow's share is measured on the modules' rectangle alone. Zero or positive; default 0, for a device whose modules reach its edges. Lengths are in the scene's unit, the same for every length.
Typical values and how to get it
From the racking drawing: the structure that stands beyond the module field, often 0 to 0.05 m. A scene read from a PVsyst variant takes it from the frame widths of the shed or tracker record.
