Device length
Length along the row or the tracker axis
What it is
The length of the device: for a rack, along the row, which runs 90° from the azimuth; for a tracker, along the axis, which runs on the azimuth bearing (north-south for azimuth 180), with the pitch 90° from it; for an east-west ridge, along the ridge, which also runs on the azimuth bearing. The viewer draws it and the shading projection clips shadows to it. Positive. Lengths are in the scene's unit, the same for every length.
