API field
Device width
Width across the row, up the tilt (the collector width)
What it is
The width of the device across its row, from the lower edge to the upper edge along the tilt. It is the collector width a neighbour's shadow climbs. A tracker's layout polygon is its footprint seen from above at 0° rotation: the short side is the width, the long side the length. The array section's collector width describes the same collector in metres; the run warns when the placement spacing disagrees with collector width over GCR. For an east-west ridge it is the slant width of one face, from its lower edge to its top edge. Positive. Lengths are in the scene's unit, the same for every length.
Typical values and how to get it
About the height of one module in portrait, or two modules for a two-high rack, plus the gaps.
