AC power reference
What the AC loss fractions refer to
Inputs used: AC power reference, STC reference power (explicit), AC nameplate power
What it is
Each AC loss fraction is the loss at a reference power divided by that power. Tools state their fractions at different references, so a fraction copied from one tool means a different loss in another unless the reference comes with it.
Options
- P_nom inverter: fractions stated at the inverter's AC nameplate
- STC reference power: fractions stated at the system's STC reference power
