MPPT minimum loss row
Loss row for power lost at the MPPT minimum

What it is
When the array operates at the MPPT minimum, the power it loses there is counted in one of two rows of the loss diagram: the voltage-threshold row, Inverter Loss due to voltage threshold, or the power-limit row, Inverter Loss over nominal inv. power. The choice matters only on timesteps where the array at its maximum power would also have exceeded the AC limit. The floor then removes power that the AC limit would have removed anyway. The choice moves energy between the two rows and never changes the energy delivered.
Options
- Power-limit loss when it would have clipped: the floor loss counted as a power-limit loss when the array would have clipped
- Count as an MPPT minimum loss: the floor loss goes to the voltage-threshold row
