The rise of the rated NOCT for modules mounted close to a roof

What it is

Used by the NOCT model with the module's rated NOCT: the amount added to the rated NOCT for the gap between the modules and the roof. 0 °C for a ground or rack mount or a gap above 3.5 inch (8.9 cm), 2 °C for 2.5 to 3.5 inch, 6 °C for 1.5 to 2.5 inch, 11 °C for 0.5 to 1.5 inch and 18 °C below 0.5 inch. No other model reads it.

Typical values and how to get it

0 °C for ground mounts and trackers; the value of the mounting gap for a roof. If not given: 0 °C, whatever the racking.
