Model step
Direct projection, low beam
The plane beam under which the direct projection leaves the beam unshaded
Inputs used: Row-to-row shading geometry
What it is
On a timestep with little direct light, the direct projection can still shade the circumsolar light around the sun, which is often larger than the beam then. This step sets whether the projection runs on such timesteps. It is live with the direct projection on a scene.
Options
- Shaded at any beam: the beam and the circumsolar are shaded on every timestep
- Unshaded under 5 W/m² of beam: the beam and the circumsolar are not shaded on a timestep with under 5 W/m² of beam on the plane
