How the strings of an inverter meet its MPPT inputs

What it is
An inverter with several MPPT inputs tracks the strings on each input at their own operating point. This step sets how the strings of an inverter meet its inputs. It is live when the inverter section gives its number of MPPT inputs and the strings per inverter do not exceed it.
Options
- One input per string: each string on an input of its own, each input an inverter of 1/n of the nominal power
- Strings share the inverter: the strings of an inverter run in parallel at one operating point
