Model step
Ground IAM angle
Incidence angle used for ground-reflected irradiance
Inputs used: Plane tilt
What it is
The ground-reflected light reaches the plane from every direction of the ground in front of it. This step sets the incidence angle at which the mask-conditioned integrals read the angular-response curve for each of those directions. It is live only with the mask-conditioned integrals.
Options
- Horizontal direction: each ground direction read at the angle of the horizontal direction with the same azimuth
- True incidence angle: each ground direction read at its own incidence angle
