Model step
One-diode saturation-current floor
Whether the diode saturation current is held above a floor
Inputs used: Open-circuit voltage, Short-circuit current
What it is
The diode saturation current of the one-diode curve falls steeply as the cells cool. This step sets whether it is held above a floor, in the solve of the curve at standard conditions and at every timestep. It is live with the Mermoud one-diode model.
Options
- Held at 2.07 × 10⁻¹⁴ A or more: the saturation current held at 2.07 × 10⁻¹⁴ A or more
- No floor: the saturation current as the temperature law gives it
