Model option
Own row
The cost of the power factor in one row after the AC losses
Inputs used: Power factor, Nameplate is apparent, Power factor row
Method
The inverter pass runs a second time at a power factor of 1, and the AC chain is computed a second time at a power factor of 1 on the same inverter output. The clipping row and the inverter output show the values at a power factor of 1 (1), each resistive AC row shows its loss at a power factor of 1 (2), and the Power factor row takes the difference (3). The energy injected into the grid is unchanged. The second inverter pass runs only when the inverter's nominal power is an apparent power; otherwise the inverter share is zero.
The math
- Inverter output at a power factor of 1
- Resistive share
- Power factor row
