Model step
Tracker field shading tables
How the shading-factor tables of a scene's tracker field give the diffuse and albedo factors
Inputs used: Tracker field shading tables, Row-to-row shading geometry, Rotation limit (symmetric), Placements
What it is
A scene's tracker field turns, so its diffuse and albedo shading factors change with the rotation. They come from the field's shading-factor table with every tracker at one rotation. This step sets the rotations at which these tables are formed, how a timestep reads the factors between them, and which neighbours the tables read. Every degree forms the table at the timestep's whole degree of rotation. The PVsyst 8 settings form it at 7 rotations, read a cubic between them, condition the angular-response factors on the same tables and add each tracker's far neighbours. The step is live on a scene with trackers shaded by the shading-factor table or the direct projection.
Options
- Every degree: the table at the timestep's whole degree of rotation, over the neighbours across the axis
- PVsyst 8 settings: the tables at 7 rotations with a cubic between them, the angular-response factors on the same tables, and every table within 25 collector widths
