The inverter's temperature schedule under a power factor

What it is
An inverter's AC rating falls as the air around it gets hotter, by the ambient nameplate schedule of the Inverter tab. With an apparent-power nameplate and a power factor below 1, the active output the inverter may deliver is lower than its rating. This step chooses whether the schedule is apparent power, so the power factor lowers it too, or active power.
Options
- Apparent power: the schedule's value times the power factor caps the active output
- Active power: the schedule caps the active output as it stands
