Model step
One-diode temperature law
The band gap and the ideality factor's temperature coefficient of the one-diode curve
Inputs used: Technology, Pmax temperature coefficient, Ideality factor temperature coefficient
What it is
The one-diode curve follows the cell temperature through the saturation current and the ideality factor. This step sets the band gap of the saturation-current law and the temperature coefficient of the ideality factor. It is live with the Mermoud one-diode model.
Options
- Fitted to the power coefficient: the band gap of the cell technology, and the ideality factor's coefficient fitted to the power temperature coefficient
- Given coefficient: a band gap of 1.121 eV for every technology, and the ideality factor's coefficient as given
- Band gap by technology, given coefficient: the band gap of the cell technology, and the ideality factor's coefficient as given
